What is Beacon Buddy?
Beacon buddy is a unique nightlight that teaches children about giving to others. When beacon buddy flashes, kids know it’s time for their parents to become “superheroes”!
parents become superheroes when they help other people, and one of the best (and easiest) ways to do that is by giving life-saving blood.
kids learn best by watching, and when parents come home wearing their blood donor sticker, their kids will know their parents really are heroes.
How it Works
Place Beacon Buddy in your child’s room, just light a normal nightlight
beacon buddy will flash to signal that it’s time to give blood again (you decide how often)
it will be your child’s job to notify you when the light changes
